We worked closely with the client in transforming what was a dark, cramped kitchen and an adjascent dysfunctional laundry/entry way into an open, illuminated space. We retained the older lovable qualities (stove, fur floors, bead board ceiling and wainscot) but removed walls and doors, bringing in light from all sides and from above. We designed custom cabinets and a layout suited for joyful living and a laundry space out of mind save for when needed nearby.
